Trauma Therapy
Trauma therapy is a specialized form of therapy that focuses on helping individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences, by helping the body to safely reprocess memories to promote emotional recovery and resilience.
At the House, we take an integrated approach to treating trauma that includes somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), expressive arts, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to facilitate a deeper connection with bodily sensations and emotions associated with trauma. Ultimately, our approach aims to empower individuals to regain control over their lives and foster a sense of safety and well-being.
